Abstraction and Painting

As part of my ongoing working process, I produce non-figurative painting and graphic assemblages. These works result from my continuing visual enquiry into materials, methods and processes. The absence of an applied communication outcome enables me to focus purely on the mechanics of composition. In so doing, I attempt to explore the interrelationship of line, colour, spacial dynamics, materiality and surface. These pieces and the characteristics they reveal, add to my visual vocabulary and help to inform the work I make for applied contexts in illustration and design.
